Automatic - NECK FREEZER

The automatic neck freezer is a machine with top-level performances designed for the processing of products such as champagne and sparkling wine obtained following the Traditional Method/ Méthode Champenoise.

Freezing of the neck of champagne or sparkling wine bottles before the disgorging.

DESCRIPTION

The automatic neck freezer is designed for bottling companies requiring production volumes up to 3,000 bottles/hour*. (*The actual hourly production strongly depends on the skill of the operator using the machine).
This model is an effective option for the freezing of the bottle necks before the disgorging after the completion of the riddling stage, i.e. after the yeasts (lees) have deposited forming a solid piece in the bottles containing champagne, sparkling wine, and cider.

The freezing is obtained at -25° C. The machine must be equipped with an external cooling unit that can either be mounted on the neck freezer or positioned outside it.

The bottles are loaded manually and turned automatically by 180° for the discharge and positioning on the conveyor belt, ready to be disgorged.

All components of our machines are designed to be easily accessible and inspectable to facilitate their cleaning and maintenance thus ensuring a long life.

Like all OMBF machines, this model is manufactured entirely of stainless steel, food graded plastic material, and steel alloys, in compliance with the regulations in force.

The machine conforms to Machinery Directive 2006/42 CE.
