Automatic Disgorging/Dosing Machine - VEGA II

The VEGA II in-line automatic machine of the winemaking range is designed for the processing of products like champagne and sparkling wine obtained following the Traditional Method/Méthode Champenoise.

Disgorging, ejection of the deposit and foam, dosing of the “liqueur d’expédition”, topping up. The machine processes glass bottles submitted to neck freezing.

  • Capacity: maximum output 1,200 b/h – Actual average production rate 1,000 b/h
  • Type of bottle: glass – diameter from ø 70 to 115 mm and height from 240 to 375 mm – other sizes on request
  • Air supply pressure: 6 bar
  • Air consumption: 10 m3/h
  • Main power supply: 230V 50Hz single-phase – other voltages to order
  • Auxiliary circuit power supply: 24V 50Hz
  • Weight of the machine: 600 Kg

The VEGA II in-line automatic disgorging machine is designed for medium-sized bottling companies that need a production volume of 1,200 bottles/hour*. (*the actual production volume of this automatic machine strongly depends on the characteristics of the wine and the quantity of liqueur).

The machine is equipped with two valves for each process; each station processes two bottles at a time.

The VEGA II model is an effective solution for those who must complete the production of bottle-fermented drinks, such as sparkling wine, champagne, and cider after the riddling.

The machine consists of a base equipped with all necessary systems for the processing of the products following the traditional method:

AUTOMATIC BOTTLE INFEED AND OUTFEED SYSTEM: a mechanical arm takes the bottle with frozen neck from the conveyor belt and positions it into the machine, after the disgorgement a second arm puts the bottle in upright position on the conveyor belt at the discharge. The horizontal transfer of the bottles under the various stations is automatic and is obtained by means of special guides designed to avoid any shock

AUTOMATIC DISGORGING SYSTEM: pneumatic removal of the crown cap and the bidule (PVC-free virgin polyethylene stopper perfectly adhering to the neck of the bottle to ensure tightness) with the ejection of the deposit; device for the temporary closure of the bottle to avoid exceeding loss of wine.

OUTPOUR – EJECTION OF THE FOAM: ejection of the exceeding foam with loss of a small quantity of wine; adjustable emptying level of wine, transfer of the wine removed into the tank supplying the wine for the topping up

LIQUEUR DOSING SYSTEM: adjustable dosing of the injection into the bottle of the desired quantity of liqueur d’expédition (from 0 to 6cl); adjustable dosing speed; device ensuring the perfect dosage of the liqueur.

BOTTLE TOPPING UP obtained by introducing the necessary quantity of wine with the gravity filling system.

Automatic transfer of the bottles between stations.

Rapid format change thanks to few simple mechanical adjustments and the substitution of some accessories.

Setting and adjusting the working times through the standard operator panel.

All components of our machines are designed to be easily accessible and inspectable to facilitate their cleaning and maintenance thus ensuring a long life.
